The Black Powder Rifle Cleaner System
In the sport of black powder rifles, or muzzleloaders, prompt, detailed cleaning of the rifle is absolutely necessary for the protection of the gun and the shooter after shooting. If the rifle bore is not cleaned properly, and in a timely manner, rust will form and begin damaging the bore within a few days.
The problem with conventional methods of cleaning are that they are labor intensive, time consuming and risk damaging the firearm. This leads to not completely cleaning the bore, leaving powder residue to corrode and damage the barrel.
The Kalver Black Powder Cleaning System gives you the option of a water container that has a swivel seat for comfort during the cleaning process or you supply your own container. Turn on the switch to begin pumping soapy water through and out of the cleaning rod while at the same time, brushes or patches are being run up and down the bore. As the water sprays out of the end of the cleaning rod, the powder residue is immediately flushed out of the barrel.
Clean water is constantly being introduced so there is no issue with contaminated water being reused. The hydro-head has been threaded to receive any standard 10-32 threaded accessory, such as a brass or plastic brush, to expand the cleaning capability. The hydro-head is also a fowling scrapper to clean the breech plug.
It is compact for easy storage and transport. The Kalver Black Powder Cleaning System is powered by 12VDC, so any ATV, truck or car can power it up. This makes it useful at the shooting range, the woods, and any remote place you may be as long as you have access to 12 volt battery power.
There's no more need to bring that dirty rifle home and spend endless time and labor working to get it clean.
