Product Cautions and Warnings

***WARNING:  BE SURE THAT YOUR FIREARM IS UNLOADED PRIOR TO CLEANING. ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN A LOADED OR PRIMED FIREARM CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH TO THE CLEANER OR BYSTANDERS.

 

NOTE:  Use the ramrod to be sure there is no charge in the barrel. Never look down the barrel of any firearm. If there is a charge in the barrel, do not attempt to remove it by shooting it out if you are unsure what the charge is or if you are unsure if the charge is safe. Instead, remove the charge using the instructions in your firearm instruction book.

***WARNING:  CHILDREN CAN FALL INTO BUCKET AND DROWN. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM BUCKET WITH EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER.

NOTE:  Black powder is very corrosive. The fouling or residue left over after firing your firearm can be destructive to the gun's parts. Failure to clean and lubricate your firearm willl damage it and impair its function. Your firearm should receive a thorough cleaning and lubrication each time that it is shot or is to be stored for more than one week.

 

Be sure to oil the barrel and other metal parts with a rust preventative.

 

Store firearms in a dry place with good air ventilation. If stored in a container, it should be well ventilated.

CAUTION:  Some cleaning chemicals/solvents can cause damage to your firearms. If chemicals are used instead of soapy water, you should avoid prolonged immersion during the cleaning of your firearm. Choice of solvent should be restricted to those products specifically developed for firearms maintenance. Ammoniated solvents or other strong alkaline solvents should not be used on any firearm.

Caution:  Designed for use with liquid agents only. Keep free of dirt, particles or solids to avoid damaging system. Do not run pumping system dry without liquid to avoid risk of damaging system.

CAUTION:  The cleaning tube rods are not designed to be bent. Avoid handling them in any way that causes them to bend or they may break.

CAUTION:  Do not over extend the power cord or damage to the cord or plug may result.

NOTE:  In the event you do not have power to your cleaning system, you might need to replace the fuse located in each of the DC power plugs. To do this, unscrew and remove the black, round end piece. Remove the silver cup, revealing the fuse. Remove and check the fuse. If it is blown, replace it with a 5 amp fuse. Replace the silver cup and black, round end piece. Be sure to check fuses in both plugs.
